Snooza (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile app, Snooza (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: We use anonymous sign-in; no personal emails or names are required.
• Sleep Data: Sleep times, wake times, sleep history, and sleep entries.
• Notifications: Preferences and reminders you enable in the App.
• Device & Analytics Data: Information collected automatically via Firebase Analytics to improve the App’s performance and usability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the App’s features.
• To track and display your sleep patterns.
• To send reminders and notifications you opt into.
• To analyze app usage trends for technical improvements.

3. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your data.
• Data may be stored and processed by Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics) under their privacy terms.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your anonymous account exists.

You can delete your data at any time in the App by going to Settings and tapping "Delete My Data." This will permanently remove your data from our systems.

Because Snooza uses anonymous authentication and does not collect identifiable account information, we are unable to associate data with a specific individual outside of the App.

If you uninstall the App before deleting your data, we may no longer be able to identify your data for deletion. In such cases, data may be deleted automatically after a period of time or retained in a non-identifiable form.

5. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

Snooza is intended for users 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and take effect immediately.

9. Account and Identification

Snooza uses anonymous authentication. We do not require or collect personal identifiers such as your name or email address to create an account.

This means we cannot identify you outside of your device or recover access to your data if the App is deleted.
